Sivaprasad Sudhir

I am a first year PhD student in the MIT database group. I am fortunate to be co-advised by Mike Cafarella and Sam Madden. I am excited about designing and building scalable systems to store, manage and process data efficiently.

Before coming to MIT, I spent some time at Google working on Napa, their new OLAP database. I obtained an MS in CS from CMU where I was advised by Andy Pavlo. Long ago, I was an undergad at IIT Bombay where I worked with S Sudarshan on query optimization.
